I'm Sean Matthews, a motion designer based in the UK. smlab is my solo practice where I mostly work with agencies, brand designers and producers who need animation brought in on briefs where it has to fit a larger creative system. That might be a 3D product animation for a brand launch, a campaign asset sitting alongside a full identity suite, or a motion piece carrying weight in an otherwise still campaign.
I also co-run Matthews and Cook with Aidan Matthews and Joe Cook — a creative agency working with property developers and hospitality businesses on brand identity, visual content and strategy.
